PvP only, then ANet might actually balance the damn game properly without fear of pissing off the PvE'rs

If they improve PvE in GW2 then sure i'll play it. But in GW atm - PvE is pure rubish.

Option 3 I think is the precedent and I find it near impossible now to vote any other way.
Myself, I'm PvE-only. I had a desire to dabble in PvP but rank discrimination and the PvP community in general simply turned me off to it. I might try it in GW2 when it starts from the ground floor again, but I am thinking not.

3) I have little use for PvP personally but the idea of massive player vs. player battles is cool and plenty of gamers really enjoy it. I'm in it for the suspension of disbelief which means a good PvE storyline and setting.

3) PvE + Hardcore PvP (Heroes’ Ascent, Guild Battles [GvG])
This is the best option... but this kind of poll is pretty stupid.. The majority of players are PvE'rs .. so the poll is kinda going to be skewed in that direction always. Also i changed #3 for me because Hero Battles isnt Hardcore pvp, its AI vs AI -.-

I agree. I'm about a year behind the curve (bought prophecies about a year after its release) and I don't play enough to get "caught up" with the hard core players.
I'm hoping things shake out and freshen up with GW2. I'm really hoping the non-combat related aspects of the game are more indepth as well. A better balance between hack n slash and actual role playing would be nice.

But GW2 will be the same as GW1 with even more emphasize on PvE. I mean, ANet did their best to kill PvP last 2 years, i don't really see the point in these polls when a lot of people who would buy the game for PvP already left..

Option 4.
I like to AB/Fort Aspenwood and in the odd chance that the Jade Quarry is running to play that. I also like to GvG and HA if my group doesnt run into 100 spiritway/zergway builds during a run.
